AI Automation Engineer (n8n)

About the Role

We are looking for an AI Automation Engineer (n8n) to build and maintain automation workflows, data pipelines, and AI-powered integrations. You will use n8n along with custom code to connect applications, automate business processes, and orchestrate AI agent workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation workflows using n8n.
• Develop integrations with internal and third-party systems via APIs, Webhooks, and databases.
• Build automated data pipelines and AI agent workflows.
• Write custom JavaScript/TypeScript or Python code when needed.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize workflow performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver scalable automation solutions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Backend, Automation, or Integration Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with n8n in building and maintaining production workflows.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Webhooks, OAuth, and JSON.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
• Experience with SQL databases, Git, and Docker.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI agents or LLM integrations (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini).
• Familiarity with LangChain, MCP, or vector databases.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Make, Zapier, or other automation platforms.
