About the Role

Hiredbuddy is an AI data annotation platform that connects skilled individuals with AI labs and researchers who need high-quality training data. As an AI Data Annotator, you will play a critical role in improving the accuracy, safety, and usefulness of AI models by providing precise feedback, labeling data, and crafting reference answers. This is a fully remote, contract position ideal for detail-oriented individuals who are eager to learn about AI and contribute to real-world model training. You'll work on a variety of tasks—from ranking AI-generated responses to identifying edge cases and writing clear, factual answers. No prior experience is required, but a strong attention to detail and a passion for technology are essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI Outputs: Review responses generated by AI models for correctness, relevance, and safety. Provide ratings and written feedback to help models improve.
• Label and Annotate Data: Accurately tag text, images, or other data types according to detailed guidelines. Ensure consistency and quality across all annotations.
• Craft Training Prompts: Write clear, unambiguous prompts that test model capabilities across various domains and difficulty levels.
• Produce Reference Answers: Create high-quality, ground-truth answers that serve as benchmarks for model performance.
• Identify Edge Cases: Recognize scenarios where AI models might fail and document these cases to improve training datasets.
• Collaborate Remotely: Work independently with asynchronous communication, meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role: 0-2 years of experience (no prior AI experience required)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines precisely
• Excellent written English skills
• Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate online platforms
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tasks
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
