About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Developer specializing in the Public Sector & Energy to join our dynamic Consulting division at PwC Deutschland. In this role, you will work within our cross-functional team, collaborating closely with business, technology, and advisory professionals to develop innovative AI solutions that address societal challenges. Your work will directly impact projects related to digitalization, energy transition, mobility, and demographic changes, helping public organizations and institutions adapt to future demands. You will be responsible for developing, training, and optimizing AI systems, implementing AI applications and algorithms, and integrating data science solutions into software products. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects within PwC’s PET AI Tech-Hub, taking ownership of specific technical areas and contributing to meaningful societal advancements.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a completed degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. You should have extensive knowledge of Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI, including architecture patterns such as RAC, MCP, and agent design. Proficiency in Machine Learning and Deep Learning, especially within ML pipelines, data analysis, modeling, and architecture, is essential. You must have strong programming skills in Python and hands-on experience with GenAI frameworks like Langchain, Langgraph, Langfuse, CrewAI, among others. Knowledge of model validation, hyperparameter tuning, and deployment processes is required. Familiarity with software development tools such as Git, Docker, and interfaces like FastAPI, along with cloud services, is also necessary. Excellent communication skills are vital for explaining complex AI topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additionally, you should demonstrate problem-solving abilities, interdisciplinary collaboration skills, and awareness of ethical and data privacy considerations related to AI.
Responsibilities
As an AI Developer in our team, your responsibilities will include developing and training AI systems, ensuring their optimal performance through continuous tuning and validation. You will implement AI applications and algorithms, transforming theoretical models into practical solutions that can be deployed in real-world scenarios. Your role involves integrating data science solutions into existing and new software products, ensuring seamless functionality and scalability. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to understand societal and organizational needs, translating these into technical requirements. Additionally, you will stay updated on emerging AI trends and frameworks, contributing to the continuous improvement of our AI capabilities. Communicating complex AI concepts effectively to stakeholders, providing technical guidance, and ensuring adherence to ethical standards and data privacy regulations are also key aspects of your responsibilities. You will participate in project planning, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
