AREA OF EMPLOYMENT IT START OF WORK as soon as possible EMPLOYMENT TYPE Full-/Parttime megállapodás szerint My responsibilities: Join our global Agile team and help ensure the quality of our web applications Perform manual testing of new and existing features, exploring edge cases and unexpected behaviors Write clear, structured test cases and keep them up to date as features evolve Create high‑quality bug reports with reproducible steps, expected vs. actual results, and all relevant details Support the verification of bug fixes and help prevent regressions in our product Learn how to run and interpret automated tests (e.g. Codeception or Playwright) with guidance from experienced QA engineers Take part in technical and product discussions to better understand requirements and potential risks Actively participate in our regular Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders The knowledge I own: Basic understanding of manual software testing (test cases, positive/negative tests, edge cases, regression testing) Basic knowledge of how web applications work (HTTP methods like GET/POST, status codes, request/response cycle) Basic SQL skills (writing simple SELECT queries to verify data) Some prior coding knowledge (in any language, e.g. JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, or similar) and interest in reading code Willingness to learn how to use tools like Jira, Postman, and browser developer tools Willingness to learn from reviews, pair sessions, and feedback from more experienced team members Confident communication in English and openness to working in an international team Naturally curious, eager to learn, and motivated to keep up with the fast‑changing tech and QA landscape First exposure to any of the following is a plus, but not required: Writing or executing automated tests (e.g. Codeception, Playwright, or similar) API testing tools (e.g. Postman, Insomnia) CI/CD pipelines (e.g. checking pipeline status, understanding failing test reports) Docker or containerized environments PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, or other web‑related technologies Interested in eCommerce or digital product development The offer that would convince me: Dedicated mentorship and regular feedback from experienced QA engineers and developers to support your growth from day one Time and guidance to learn new testing techniques and tools (including automated testing and basic scripting) on real, but safe, tasks before you take over more complex responsibilities The chance to work in an international team, collaborating with colleagues from all over the world The opportunity to contribute to our own product and learn how to build high‑quality, stable, and well‑tested solutions in a real production environment A strong engineering and quality culture where testing and code quality matter, guided by Clean Code, SOLID principles, and a pragmatic approach to automation Flexible working hours with a high degree of remote work possibilities (with at least 24 hours per week so you can meaningfully contribute alongside your studies or other commitments) Online application: Please use our online application and attach your English resume.
