AI Engineer

Description We are seeking an innovative and hands-on AI Engineer to join our Data Science team within Business Intelligence. In this hybrid role, you will design, build, and scale AI-driven systems that improve operational efficiency, automate workflows, and enhance decision-making across the organization. You’ll partner closely with Analytics, Business Intelligence, Operations, Finance, and other business teams to bring AI solutions from concept to production. This position is ideal for someone who combines strong software engineering fundamentals with practical AI/ML experience and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. What You’ll Do Design and deploy scalable AI/ML and LLM-powered applications that drive measurable business impact Build and maintain data pipelines, vector databases, and AI infrastructure for production systems Develop backend APIs and integrations using Python and SQL to embed AI capabilities into business processes Manage the AI lifecycle including deployment, monitoring, optimization, and retraining Implement evaluation frameworks and AI safety guardrails to ensure reliable and responsible AI usage What to Expect in This Role A highly hands-on engineering role focused on building production-ready AI solutions Collaboration with cross-functional teams including Analytics, Operations, Finance, and Business Intelligence Opportunities to work with emerging technologies including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and Voice AI A fast-paced environment where innovation, ownership, and problem-solving are highly valued You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Strong software engineering foundation with experience building scalable backend systems Experience working with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn Familiarity with LLM orchestration tools like LangChain or LlamaIndex Comfortable translating technical concepts into business-friendly solutions Able to manage multiple priorities and proactively identify technical risks What You Bring – Required Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, AI, Software Engineering, or a related field 2+ years of experience building and deploying AI/ML or LLM applications in production environments Strong proficiency in Python and SQL Experience managing data pipelines and MLOps tooling What You Bring – Nice to Have Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP along with Docker and Kubernetes Familiarity with Voice AI, Speech-to-Text (STT), and Text-to-Speech (TTS) technologies Experience working in Financial Services or other regulated industries Success Looks Like (6–12 Months) Successfully deploys production-ready AI solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort Builds scalable and reliable AI pipelines, APIs, and automation workflows with minimal oversight Becomes a trusted technical partner to Business Intelligence, Operations, Finance, and other business teams Why Goal Solutions Competitive salary + bonus eligibility 401(k) with 4% company match Medical, dental, vision, and HSA ($1,700 annual contribution) 14 paid holidays (including your birthday) Paid parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and long-term incentives?
