We are 300+ and growing, post-acquisition business and one of the leading players in the US healthcare ad market. We're looking for an AI Engineer to help re-shape our business and scale our efficiency: Design, develop, and maintain LLM-based AI components to improve the efficiency of internal teams and user-facing communications – from data retrieval to chat interfaces. Experiment with and evaluate new frameworks, models, and architectures emerging in the field. Improve the underlying data infrastructure to address challenges posed by LLM usage. Partner with cross-functional teams of analysts, software engineers, and user-facing departments to identify use cases and design solutions. Contribute to the technical vision for generative AI systems at PulsePoint. You'll join the Core Engineering team, responsible for the PulsePoint Exchange and Life Advertising platform – handling hundreds of thousands of transactions per second, billions of times a month, with responses collected from dozens of parties in milliseconds and thousands of data points factored into every serving decision. Basic Qualifications Python experience, including data manipulation packages like numpy and pandas, solid SQL skills, and understanding of TDD principles. Independence, initiative, and ownership over what you build. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking: you will need to figure out your own mistakes, and sometimes not just yours, especially in such a new field. Nice to have Experience developing, delivering, and supporting AI and ML algorithms or technologies (e.g. LLM Inference, Embeddings, and VectorDBs, ranking algorithms, and time series analysis).
