The Job As a Front-End Developer, your main goal is to build modern, scalable, and high-performing web applications using AI as a core part of how you work. You'll develop customer-facing experiences powered by modern frontend technologies and headless architectures, integrating content platforms such as Amplience with commerce and backend services. The foundation is solid engineering: you bring strong programming fundamentals, problem-solving instincts, and a sense of UI craft to deliver maintainable solutions. What You'll Do Build modern, responsive web applications using modern frontend frameworks Develop and maintain applications powered by Headless CMS architectures Integrate content from Amplience (or similar Headless CMS platforms) into frontend applications Design scalable, maintainable component architectures Integrate REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and third-party services Collaborate with designers, PMs, backend developers, and QAs in multi-disciplinary projects Review, refactor, and maintain clean codebases, both yours and AI-generated Ensure quality, accessibility, performance, and cross-browser compatibility What You Bring To The Team Must Have Skills 4+ years of experience as a Front-End Developer Strong JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals Experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React, Next.js, Vue, Angular, or Svelte) Experience building applications with Headless CMS architectures Experience with Amplience is highly preferred; experience with similar platforms such as Contentful, Sanity, Storyblok, Contentstack, or Contentful is also valuable Experience consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs Strong HTML and CSS skills with attention to accessibility, responsive design, and design systems Strong programming fundamentals and architecture intuition Experience integrating third-party services Unit and end-to-end testing experience Experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams Real, daily experience using AI tools in your development workflow Good written and spoken English Nice to Have Experience in e-commerce or retail platforms Experience with composable commerce architectures Familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms Experience optimizing web performance and Core Web Vitals CI/CD and cloud deployment experience We Offer You Flexible Working Schedule Remote Work Competitive Compensation Performance Bonuses Surprise Goodies + Many Cool Benefits About Koombea Koombea is an international app development company founded in 2007.
