Role Description
The AI & IT Solutions Executive will be the key go-to person for AI and IT-related systems across Ulink Assist.
This is a hands-on role focused on troubleshooting, fixing, developing, implementing, testing, monitoring, and improving AI and IT systems to ensure they operate reliably and effectively. The person will be expected to investigate technical issues, identify root causes, implement practical solutions, and take ownership until issues are properly resolved.
The role will also support the implementation and rollout of new AI and technology solutions, working closely with the Project Manager, Software Engineer, Operations Support team, external vendors, and other stakeholders as required.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, proactive, resourceful, and able to identify potential system issues before they affect operations. The individual should also have a strong interest in AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), automation, and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
1. AI & IT Troubleshooting
- Act as the main point of contact for AI and IT-related issues across the company.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues involving AI systems, software, integrations, automation workflows, websites, databases, telephony systems, and other technology platforms.
- Identify root causes and ensure issues are fully resolved, working with internal teams, developers, or vendors where required.
2. Implementation & System Rollout
- Develop, configure, test, implement, and monitor new AI, IT, automation, and digital solutions together with the Project Manager and relevant teams.
- Monitor system rollouts closely, identify potential issues or weaknesses early, and resolve them before they impact operations.
- Support UAT, system integrations, deployment, and post-implementation improvements.
3. System Monitoring, Audit & Preventive Maintenance
- Proactively monitor AI and IT systems, integrations, logs, and system performance to detect potential problems before they occur.
- Conduct regular system and technology audits to identify gaps, risks, vulnerabilities, performance issues, and areas for improvement.
- Implement preventive and corrective measures to improve system reliability and reduce downtime or recurring issues.
- Support cybersecurity, access controls, user permissions, and technology risk management.
4. AI, Automation & Technology Improvement
- Work with LLMs, APIs, databases, automation tools, and platforms such as Claude, n8n, Zoho, Meta platforms including WhatsApp Business, Facebook, Instagram and related integrations, telephony systems, chatbots, and voicebots.
- Identify opportunities to improve operations through AI, automation, and technology
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing systems, tools, and processes.
- Keep up to date with developments in AI, LLMs, automation, and other relevant technologies.
5. Documentation & Coordination
- Maintain documentation of technical issues, root causes, solutions, system changes, audits, testing, and configurations.
- Work closely with the internal team (project manager, software engineer, operations) and external vendors to ensure projects and technical issues are completed successfully.
- Communicate technical issues, risks, progress, and solutions clearly to management and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant hands-on experience in IT, AI, software, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across AI, IT, software, and system-related issues.
- Familiarity with LLMs and AI platforms such as Claude, APIs, databases/SQL, n8n or similar automation tools, and basic coding or scripting.
- Experience with systems such as Zoho, Meta platforms and integrations, telephony systems, websites, cloud applications, and automation tools.
- Able to implement, test, deploy, monitor, audit, and improve technology solutions.
- Proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Healthcare, insurance, TPA, clinic, or hospital industry experience is an added advantage.
This position reports directly to the General Manager.
