AI Marketing Automation Specialist

Salary: R 65 000 - R 85 000 CTC per month (depending on experience)

Location: Must live in South Africa, but fully remote

In this pivotal role, the operator will serve as the engine of the marketing ecosystem—building hyper-automated content workflows and turning high-level leadership ideas into streamlined, automated realities. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and scale end-to-end automated marketing workflows across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X.
• Manage and optimize distribution pipelines to seamlessly transform raw inputs from Notion and Dropbox into structured content schedules.
• Build, maintain, and monitor automated integrations leveraging GoHighLevel CRM, N8N, Make, Zapier, APIs, and modern LLMs.
• Collaborate directly with executive leadership to balance high-volume ideas with practical pipeline control, prioritization, and execution.
• Critically evaluate, test, and refine AI-generated outputs, applying human discernment to maintain brand standards and asset quality.
• Monitor system performance, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement ongoing workflow improvements.
• Stay ahead of emerging AI tools, platform capabilities, and automation trends to drive continuous operational innovation.
• Provide strategic technical recommendations based on workflow performance metrics and system efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an AI Operator, Automation Specialist, or Technical Marketing Systems Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with automation and CRM tools such as GoHighLevel, N8N, Make, Zapier, Notion, and Dropbox.
• Demonstrated proficiency with LLMs and integrating AI APIs into practical marketing and content workflows.
• Technical and operational focus applied to marketing, rather than a traditional copy/design-only marketing background.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate AI output quality accurately.
• Exceptional self-management, proactive problem-solving abilities, and an execution-first mindset ("ship first").
• Exposure to paid media, performance marketing, or creative direction is advantageous.
