The Role
As an AI Product Support Specialist, you will monitor how automated systems handle financial data for a large financial services group in Nairobi. Working in a fully remote environment, you will look for discrepancies between the technical outputs and the underlying financial realities. This is not a traditional tech support role where you follow a script: it is about understanding why a system might be producing flawed results and communicating those findings to the team. You will be expected to investigate the logic behind the data, ensuring that the automated tools we use are helping, rather than hindering, our ability to provide clear advice.

What You Will Be Doing

• Monitoring system logs and outputs for the Nairobi-based financial group to identify data inconsistencies.
• Testing financial assumptions embedded in the tools to ensure they align with the client's actual profit and loss structures.
• Documenting technical friction points where the software fails to capture the complexity of capital allocation or pricing models.
• Helping the senior team verify that the economics of specific automated decisions make sense in a real world context.
• Investigating anomalies in automated reporting and tracing them back to either data quality issues or logic errors.
• Providing clear reports on tool performance to help principals make better advisory recommendations.
• Assisting in the execution phase by checking that system updates do not break established financial logic.
• Collaborating with the technical team to suggest practical fixes for recurring data issues.

What You Bring

• A degree in finance, economics, computer science, or a related field where you worked with data sets.
• A healthy sense of skepticism and the ability to ask why when a number looks incorrect.
• Strong skills in Excel or similar spreadsheet software to perform manual checks against automated outputs.
• Basic familiarity with how software products work or how data flows through a complex system.
• Clear writing skills that allow you to explain technical issues in plain English to non technical colleagues.
