Role Description The AI Security Engineer role is a remote, contract position responsible for securing AI-driven and blockchain-enabled systems across TEOS Sovereign Systems’ platforms. This role involves designing and implementing security controls for applications and infrastructure, assessing risks in AI models and data pipelines, and hardening smart-contract and Web3 integrations. The AI Security Engineer will conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and security audits, while collaborating with engineering, data science, and product teams to embed security best practices into development lifecycles. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring security events, responding to incidents, documenting security architectures and policies, and contributing to compliance and governance efforts for sovereign digital platforms.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Application Security and Security Engineering for AI systems, APIs, and blockchain-based applications.
• Candidates should possess solid Network Security capabilities, including secure architecture design, segmentation, and protection of cloud and distributed infrastructures.
• Candidates should possess deep Cybersecurity and Information Security skills, including risk assessment, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Experience securing AI/ML pipelines, model lifecycle management, and data privacy in AI workloads is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with Web3 security, smart contract audits, cryptography fundamentals, and secure key management is preferred.
• Proficiency with security tools and frameworks (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, SAST/DAST, threat intelligence platforms) and secure DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, CCSP, or similar) are a plus.
