Description: The AI Solutions Engineer partners with business functions to identify, design, build, and deploy AI and Generative AI solutions that improve operational efficiency, decision-making, compliance, and business performance. Working within the enterprise AI architecture, governance, and security framework, this role develops and supports production-ready AI applications, integrates third-party AI solutions, and builds data-to-AI pipelines using governed enterprise data. The position collaborates closely with business stakeholders, AI Champions, IT Business Partners, and Enterprise AI Architects to deliver scalable, compliant, and measurable AI capabilities while driving user adoption, continuous improvement, and realization of business value across assigned functional areas. Essential Functions: Solution delivery — design, build, and productionize AI/GenAI solutions across Finance, HR, Legal, and Corporate Development, including contract review, financial close support, recruiting/talent workflows, and audit analytics Use case identification and prioritization — partner with Corporate Function AI Champions and IT Business Partners to surface, scope, and prioritize new use cases against the program's five value drivers (Revenue, Cost, Working Capital, Speed, Risk/Compliance) Vendor solution integration — integrate and extend vendor/SaaS tools (Phenom, BrightHire, Oracle AI, Synthesia, contract-review automation, and similar) into the governed platform; reduce reliance on vendors for engineering continuity Data-to-AI pipeline work — build RAG/GenAI pipelines against Gold-layer Databricks data, following chunking, embedding, and RBAC-propagation standards set by the Enterprise AI Architect and Enterprise Data Architect; handle PII-sensitive HR and Legal data with elevated care Governance and security compliance — submit solution designs through the AI Security Review Gate and Architecture Review Board; enforce AI-WISE policy, SOX audit-trail requirements, and data-privacy controls across Finance, HR, and Legal outputs Adoption and enablement — train Corporate Function AI Champions and SPOCs; document solution usage; support biweekly Business-IT governance sessions Measurement and reporting — track solution performance (hours saved, audit findings, hiring-cycle time, contract turnaround) and report into the AI program's ROI framework Additional Responsibilities: Serve as the embedded IT delivery resource across Finance, HR, Legal, and Corporate Development, working day-to-day with the respective IT Business Partners and function AI Champions Apply extra scrutiny to PII and confidential-information handling per AI-WISE, given the concentration of employee, compensation, and contract data in this spoke Escalate platform-level architecture, model-routing, or security questions to the Enterprise AI Architect rather than making unilateral platform changes Flag capacity constraints as portfolio volume grows across the four covered domains; provide input to the 12-month evaluation of splitting this spoke into dedicated Finance and HR roles Education: Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Computer Science, Data/Information Science, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent work experience - Required Master Degree (MS/MA) Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field - Preferred Experience: 5 years or more in Software/AI/data engineering experience, including building and shipping production GenAI or ML applications (not proof-of-concept only) The base salary for this position ranges from $160,000 - $175,000 per year. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, with this position within the first 12 months. Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of what Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, experience, geographic location and other relevant skills.
