AI Tools Associate

Tech Pipeline specializes in fixing the internal friction that stops companies from functioning properly. We look for the broken links in workflows and stay until the systems are stable and the team can manage them alone.

The role
We are currently supporting a Munich-based financial firm as they integrate new AI-driven tools into their reporting and reconciliation workflows. As an AI Tools Associate, you will help us verify that these tools are actually solving problems rather than creating new ones for the staff. This is a fully remote entry-level position where you will learn how to audit and improve business processes from the ground up.

What you will do

• Testing various AI prompts and tools to ensure they produce consistent results for financial data tasks.
• Reviewing system logs to identify where a process might be stalling or producing an error.
• Updating step-by-step guides so that the client's internal team knows exactly how to use the new tools.
• Comparing data outputs from new tools against manual records to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Organizing the feedback we receive from the client to help us prioritize which technical fixes are most urgent.
• Monitoring daily automated tasks to ensure they complete without intervention from the staff.
• Assisting in the cleanup of data sets before they are processed by internal systems or automation scripts.
• Recording the specific steps taken to resolve a process failure to help build our internal knowledge base.

What we are looking for

• A logical mindset and a genuine interest in how different pieces of software talk to each other.
• Strong written communication skills for creating clear instructions that anyone can follow without help.
• Basic familiarity with spreadsheets, specifically the ability to use filters, lookups, and basic formulas.
• High attention to detail, especially when looking at system logs or large sets of financial numbers.
• The ability to ask why when a process does not work as expected rather than just skipping over the error.
• A willingness to learn how to troubleshoot simple software issues and basic API connections.
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment while keeping the team updated through written text.
• Curiosity about how businesses run and a desire to see how operations work in the real world.
