AI Tools Associate

We are looking for an AI Tools Associate to help us eliminate operational drag for our clients. Our partner is a Birmingham-based distribution company that needs to modernize how they handle high volumes of documentation and routing tasks. In this role, you will spend your time testing how different AI tools handle their specific data and ensuring the output matches the reality of their warehouse operations. This is a fully remote position where you will focus on the seams between human workflows and new automated tools, ensuring that data does not get lost or misinterpreted by the system.

What You Will Do

• Test different prompt variations to improve the accuracy of data extraction from invoices and shipping logs.
• Monitor AI output logs daily to identify where errors or formatting issues occur in the pipeline.
• Update SOPs to reflect how staff should interact with new automated routing rules and decision logs.
• Perform manual reconciliation between AI-generated summaries and raw source data to ensure 100 percent accuracy.
• Configure tool settings to ensure data flows correctly between different internal systems without manual intervention.
• Maintain a detailed decision log for all changes made to tool configurations or prompt structures during the project.
• Assist in the creation of runbooks that help client teams manage their new tools independently.
• Identify stale data within client databases that might cause automation tools to fail or produce incorrect results.

What You Bring

You will be expected to own your tasks and keep your runbooks updated as you work. We do not believe in permanent retainers: our goal is to build a process, prove it works, and hand it over to the client. When the client can run the system without us, we know we have done our job correctly.
