The opportunity

We are working with a growing technology and transformation consultancy that supports large enterprise organisations with complex change across AI, data, cloud and digital transformation.

The business is expanding its AI consulting capability and is looking for an AI Transformation Consultant who can combine strong client-facing consulting skills with practical experience of modern AI tools and technologies.

This is not a purely technical engineering role and it is not a traditional programme-management position. You will work with clients to identify valuable AI use cases, shape practical solutions, build early prototypes and help move initiatives from experimentation into delivery.

You will also contribute to the development of new AI consulting services, propositions and delivery methods.

What you'll be doing

• Work with enterprise clients to identify and assess practical AI opportunities
• Facilitate discovery workshops and translate business challenges into clear AI use cases
• Help shape solutions, delivery approaches, proposals and statements of work
• Support pre-sales activity and client presentations
• Build lightweight prototypes, demonstrations and proofs of concept
• Apply generative AI and automation tools to improve client and internal delivery
• Support AI initiatives from initial concept through pilot and implementation
• Help develop repeatable AI propositions, accelerators and consulting methods
• Work across consulting, technical and client teams to ensure solutions deliver measurable value

What we're looking for

• Around 3-5 years' experience in technology consulting, digital transformation or a related client-facing role
• Practical understanding of generative AI, large language models, RAG, AI agents and workflow automation
• Experience taking ideas from discovery through to prototype, pilot or implementation
• Confidence using modern AI development and productivity tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Lovable, Windsurf or similar
• Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder engagement and presentation skills
• Ability to explain technical AI concepts in clear commercial and business terms
• Experience contributing to proposals, statements of work or pre-sales activity
• An interest in proposition development and helping grow a consulting capability
• Experience working with large or complex organisations would be beneficial

The person

You are likely to be someone who enjoys experimenting with AI tools but can also operate credibly in front of senior client stakeholders.

You do not need to be a deeply specialised machine-learning engineer. The role is better suited to someone who can bridge the gap between business problems, consulting delivery and practical AI implementation.

You may currently be working as an AI Consultant, Technology Consultant, Digital Transformation Consultant, Innovation Consultant, Product Consultant or Solutions Consultant.
