AI Venture Builder

Clear Summit Group

Is this job info correct?

About the role

We need someone to build AI products across seven companies. Not run a roadmap. Build the actual thing.

Clear Summit Group buys, builds and grows businesses in home care, education, staffing and consumer services. Between them there are thousands of operators, real revenue, and a pile of manual work that should have been automated two years ago and wasn't.

Most product jobs are one product, one roadmap, one set of stakeholders, for years. This isn't that. You'll move across the portfolio, find what's worth building, build it, and hand it to the operators who'll use it the following month. Every few months you'll be working on something you weren't working on before.

What the work actually looks like

There's no standard week. Over a year it tends to include:

  • Building AI workflows that take hundreds of hours of manual work off the table every month
  • Prototyping new products with AI-assisted dev tools
  • Sitting with franchisees, operators and customers to find out what's actually broken
  • Running product discovery on a new business idea, from the first question to a real recommendation
  • Digging into a company we're thinking about buying
  • Rebuilding internal operations around automation
  • Building the dashboards operators need to make a call

Some of it dies in a week. Some of it turns into a company.

Who it's for

You've probably started something, run a team, or held a job where nobody handed you the spec. We'd expect to see titles like founder, product manager, entrepreneur in residence, chief of staff, startup operator, or AI product manager. What you shipped matters to us a lot more than what the title was.

You're a fit if most of this is true. You've built something from nothing that people actually used. You build with AI every day and can show us the output, not just talk about it. You've talked to customers directly and changed course because of what they said. You're fine moving between strategy and doing the work, and you don't think either is beneath you. You're technically curious without needing to be an engineer. And you fix problems nobody assigned you.

You're probably not a fit if you want a settled roadmap, a stable team, or one product to call your own. The ambiguity is the job. It isn't a stage we're going to grow out of.

Nice to have

Startup or SaaS background, UX sense, SQL, some coding, automation, analytics, or experience in franchise or multi-location businesses. None of it is a dealbreaker.

What the first year looks like

You'll have shipped products, built AI systems operators actually rely on, led work across more than one business, and created value we can put a number on.

Do it well and the path runs toward running a business unit, a venture, or a portfolio company. We promote builders, mostly because there's nobody else we'd rather hand a business to.

Why it's different

You'll work straight with people who've built, bought and grown companies for decades. You get real autonomy and a short line to the owners. A decision that takes a quarter somewhere else takes a conversation here.

You'll also inherit real constraints. These are live businesses with staff, customers and revenue, not a sandbox. Whatever you build has to hold up when it meets them.

Fully remote. Performance bonus and real upside tied to what you create.
