We are currently looking for an AI/ML Governance Specialist to join our team and contribute to an enterprise-level AI and Machine Learning initiative. About the Role As an AI/ML Governance Specialist, you will help operationalize governance standards across the complete Machine Learning lifecycle, ensuring that ML models and internally developed AI solutions follow appropriate controls from development and validation through deployment, monitoring, change management, and retirement. You will work closely with Data Science, AI Engineering, MLOps, Data Product, Risk, and Governance teams to translate governance requirements into practical processes and controls that can be integrated into day-to-day AI/ML operations. This opportunity is ideal for someone who combines a solid understanding of AI/ML and MLOps with experience in model governance, lifecycle controls, Responsible AI, model risk, or technology risk. What You'll Do Operationalize AI/ML and MLOps governance requirements across the complete model lifecycle. Translate governance requirements into practical controls, procedures, templates, checklists, and documentation. Support governance activities across model intake, development, validation, registration, deployment readiness, production monitoring, change management, and retirement. Partner with Data Scientists, AI Engineers, MLOps Engineers, Product Owners, Risk, and Governance teams. Maintain model documentation, governance records, approvals, inventories, and audit-ready evidence. Help ensure appropriate model validation, versioning, traceability, monitoring, and lifecycle controls. Identify governance gaps and risks and coordinate appropriate remediation activities. Support the continuous improvement and automation of governance processes within AI/ML workflows. Contribute to governance practices for Generative AI, LLMs, and Agentic AI solutions. What We're Looking For 3+ years of relevant experience across AI/ML, MLOps, Model Governance, Model Risk, Responsible AI, Technology Risk, or related areas. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Strong understanding of the Machine Learning lifecycle, from development and validation through production and monitoring. Familiarity with AI Governance, Responsible AI, Model Risk Management, or similar governance frameworks and controls. Experience with technical or operational controls, documentation, validation, compliance, or audit evidence. Ability to translate governance or risk requirements into actionable technical processes. Experience collaborating across technical and non-technical teams. Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills. Advanced English. Nice to Have Experience with Vertex AI or similar ML platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, or MLflow. Experience with model registries, inventories, lineage, monitoring, versioning, or lifecycle management. Experience automating governance controls within MLOps pipelines. Exposure to regulated or highly controlled environments. Experience with governance, evaluation, risk, or safety practices for Generative AI, LLMs, or Agentic AI.
