Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airport IT Engineer with over 10 years of expertise in designing, implementing, and managing IT systems for Annex Building projects within Airport Infrastructure . The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, airport-specific systems, and advanced technologies to ensure seamless operations and compliance with aviation standards. This role demands technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver innovative IT solutions in complex airport environments. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement IT infrastructure for annex buildings, including data centers, network systems, and communication platforms. Ensure integration of IT systems with airport-wide infrastructure, including terminals, airside, and landside operations. Oversee the installation and configuration of hardware, software, and network components. Manage and maintain airport-specific IT systems such as Common Use Passenger Processing Systems (CUPPS), Baggage Handling Systems (BHS), and Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS). Ensure the seamless operation of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and biometric solutions. Support the integration of advanced technologies, such as IoT, AI, and automation, to enhance airport operations. Oversee IT-related aspects of annex building projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure IT requirements are met. Manage procurement processes for IT equipment and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with project specifications. Ensure seamless integration of IT systems with existing airport infrastructure and third-party systems. Conduct rigorous testing and commissioning of IT systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with aviation standards. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during and after system deployment. Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect airport IT systems from potential threats. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, such as GDPR, and airport-specific security protocols. Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Develop and implement maintenance plans for IT systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Provide technical support and training to airport staff and stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT engineering, with a focus on annex building projects within airports. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and airport-specific systems (e.g., CUPPS, FIDS, BHS). Proficiency in IT tools and platforms, including Cisco, VMware, and Microsoft systems. Familiarity with IoT, AI, and automation technologies for airport applications. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. Preferred Attributes: Demonstrated experience in large-scale airport projects, including terminal buildings, annex facilities, and airside infrastructure. Knowledge of sustainable IT solutions and energy-efficient practices. Familiarity with international standards and codes, such as ICAO, IATA, and local airport authority regulations.
