ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT MANAGER (MATERNITY COVER) Join LCDS to connect a global alumni community with performances, professional development, artistic activity and meaningful opportunities across The Place. Apply Here JOB OVERVIEW The Alumni Engagement Manager will lead the development and delivery of London Contemporary Dance School’s (LCDS) alumni engagement strategy, strengthening connections between alumni, LCDS and The Place. This role will identify and create meaningful opportunities for alumni to engage with the life of the organisation by connecting them with performances, professional development opportunities, artistic activity and events across The Place’s existing programmes, alongside targeted alumni initiatives where appropriate. The postholder will report to LCDS’s Senior Management and work closely with the Communications team, School Office team and the Alumni Working Group. Alumni of LCDS play a crucial role in supporting the organisation’s long-term success and maintaining its world-leading reputation. The Alumni Engagement Manager will cultivate and strengthen relationships across our global alumni community through strategic engagement, communications, professional support and opportunities for connection throughout their careers. This role will maximise engagement by integrating alumni into the rich programme of performances, festivals, talks, networking opportunities and artistic activity that already exists across The Place. Working across departments, the Alumni Engagement Manager will identify opportunities for alumni to reconnect with the organisation, with one another and with the wider dance sector, while developing additional initiatives where these add value. The post holder will operate with a high degree of autonomy across the organisation and will work collaboratively with colleagues to embed alumni engagement throughout The Place's activities. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required in agreement with their line manager. SALARY & CONTRACT TERMS SALARY The full-time equivalent salary for this position is £36,471 per annum, equating to £21,883 per annum for this part-time role. Salaries are reviewed in August each year when any cost-of-living increases are made. No salary changes are made until after successful completion of a probationary period. CONTRACT TERMS This is a 12-month, fixed-term, maternity cover contract. This is a part-time position (equivalent to 24 hours per week). These hours are inclusive of a one-hour paid lunch break each day. Your hours of work will be agreed with the line manager. Whilst in the six-month probationary period the notice period will be two weeks. Once this period is successfully completed the post holder will be confirmed in the post and the notice period will be eight weeks. The successful candidate must be available to commence employment in mid-Oct 2026. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required in agreement with the line manager. Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK at the time of application and for the duration of employment.
