Role Type: Full Time
Role: Amazon Marketplace Manager – Europe
Team: Ecommerce
Annual Compensation: 20.000€
About Mitchell Group
Mitchell Group is an international beauty and skincare company with an established presence across Amazon Europe and other global ecommerce channels.
We operate in a fast-moving and highly regulated category. We are looking for an experienced Amazon Marketplace Manager who can take ownership of our European marketplaces, protect account health, resolve complex problems, and improve profitability.
About the Role
As our Amazon Marketplace Manager, you will oversee the commercial and operational performance of our European Amazon business.
Your main priorities will be product compliance, listing reinstatements, catalog management, FBA fee accuracy, pricing, and product-level profitability. You will manage existing virtual assistants and coordinate with our compliance, finance, logistics, and creative teams.
This is not primarily a PPC or inventory-management role. We need someone who can identify problems, determine their commercial impact, and take ownership until they are resolved.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage Amazon Seller Central across the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and other European markets
- Monitor Account Health, compliance requests, restricted products, and removed or suppressed listings
- Lead product reinstatement cases, appeals, Plans of Action, and Amazon escalations
- Coordinate compliance documentation with suppliers, laboratories, consultants, and internal teams
- Maintain accurate product-level P&Ls across each marketplace
- Review FBA fees, referral fees, VAT, reimbursements, and other Amazon charges
- Investigate incorrect product dimensions, fulfilment fees, and financial discrepancies
- Recommend pricing changes based on costs, fees, competition, and target margins
- Resolve catalog issues, including variations, duplicate ASINs, incorrect attributes, and listing conflicts
- Coordinate product launches, promotions, deals, and marketplace expansion
- Monitor competitors and identify new commercial opportunities
- Manage and prioritise tasks for the existing Amazon virtual assistant team
- Provide clear weekly reporting on performance, profitability, compliance, and unresolved risks
Who You Are
- You have at least three years of hands-on Amazon Seller Central experience
- You have managed Amazon UK and European marketplaces
- You understand Amazon Account Health, product compliance, listing reinstatements, and escalation processes
- You can prepare strong appeals, Plans of Action, and corrective-action documentation
- You understand product-level P&Ls, Amazon fees, VAT, pricing, and contribution margins
- You have strong catalog-management and troubleshooting experience
- You are highly organised and able to manage multiple open cases simultaneously
- You communicate clearly and professionally in English
- You take full ownership and do not allow important issues to fall through the cracks
- You identify solutions rather than simply reporting problems
Nice to Have
- Experience with beauty, skincare, cosmetics, or personal care products
- Knowledge of EU and UK cosmetic compliance requirements
- Experience reviewing safety reports, laboratory tests, ingredient documentation, and product labels
- Experience disputing FBA fees and recovering incorrect charges
- Knowledge of German, French, Italian, or Spanish
- Experience coordinating virtual assistants or junior team members
Who This Job Is Not For
This role is not for someone who needs constant direction or only reports problems without resolving them. It is also not suitable for candidates whose Amazon experience is limited primarily to PPC.
We need someone who is persistent with Amazon, commercially aware, comfortable handling complex compliance cases, and accountable for outcomes.
