Is this job info correct?

Qualifications 3+ years in business analysis, systems analysis, process design, consulting, or a comparable role translating business needs into working solutions. Demonstrated experience designing or configuring something non-trivial and automated, and the ability to walk us through the tradeoffs you made and where it could break. We care considerably more about this than about which tools you used. Hands-on experience with AI and LLM-based tools beyond casual use. You understand prompting and context, and you have seen these systems fail in ways traditional software does not. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to decompose a messy human process into steps, inputs, decisions, and outputs. Data literacy - you can reason about where data lives, which system is the source of truth, and how records relate across systems, and you have the persistence to build that picture for an unfamiliar set of tools. Comfortable reading technical documentation and API references independently, and reading configuration or code well enough to understand what a workflow is doing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate working sessions and present to stakeholders. Experience in testing, QA, and root cause analysis of issues. Ability to build effective stakeholder partnerships. Strongly Preferred Familiarity with any part of the marketing domain - content production, events, research, partner programs, campaign structure, or audience segmentation. Deep expertise in any one area is not required. Exposure to agent frameworks, orchestration tooling, or emerging standards for connecting AI systems to enterprise tools and data. Familiarity with work management tools such as Shortcut, Jira, or similar. Proven track record of independently owning a workstream or product area end to end. Experience introducing a new capability or way of working to an audience that was not asking for it. A Note on the Technical Bar You will notice this posting does not ask for a programming language. That is deliberate. We believe the leverage in this work is shifting away from syntax fluency and toward sound judgment about configuration, guardrails, data, and how people and agents divide up a workflow. We have staffed the team accordingly, and there are experienced engineers here who lead the problems that require custom code. If you write code, that is welcome and useful. If you do not, it will not hold you back - but you do need to be technical enough to reason about how systems fit together and to tell a working solution from one that only looks like it works. Location and Travel This role is based in St. Louis, Missouri, on a hybrid schedule of a few days per month onsite. Strong remote candidates will be considered, with less than 10% travel to St. Louis. Who You Are The right person for this role is confident, self-managed, and does not wait to be told there is a problem. Beyond the qualifications, we are looking for someone who is: A problem solver who takes ownership and sees things through. Efficient and organized - you prioritize well and rarely need to be chased down. Intellectually curious - you pick up new domains quickly and enjoy learning how things work. A critical thinker who asks why, looks for patterns, and connects dots others miss. Analytically minded - comfortable with data and able to use it to tell a story and drive decisions. A strong communicator with great soft skills - you build relationships easily and know how to read a room. A go-getter who looks for opportunities to add value beyond what is assigned. Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of the salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $71,200 to $106,800 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that are not included in the base pay. The well-being of WWT employees is essential. If you are passionate about technology and eager to take on new challenges, we encourage you to apply and join our team. World Wide Technology has an opportunity for an Analyst to join our Marketing Engineering team. We build the software and automation that marketing runs on: agentic workflows, custom applications and internal experiences, integrations with partner systems, and ML-based analysis that surfaces insights to the business. Our work reaches across the whole marketing organization - content creation, research, events, partner programs, campaign operations, and the data underneath all of it. The team is small and lean. Everyone here wears several hats, and the work gets done together rather than passed between roles. This position brings a dedicated business analysis discipline to an engineering-focused team, connecting what marketing needs with what we build. Your first job is to learn two things well: how marketing teams work and what tools and data they depend on, and what our own frameworks and platforms can already do. Many requests can be met by combining what we have built rather than starting from scratch, and recognizing those cases is a large part of the value of this role. You will own the front door for incoming requests - clarifying them, sizing them, and keeping a prioritized queue. From there you help design the solution, build what you can inside our frameworks, and work with our engineers and data scientists on the larger pieces. You will not be doing this alone. Two adjacent functions sit with our partner teams rather than here: campaign performance reporting belongs to Marketing Analytics, and campaign platform administration belongs to Marketing Operations. Clear career paths exist to Senior Analyst, Lead Analyst, and beyond. What You'll Do Become the person who understands how marketing's tools and data fit together across content, campaigns, events, research, and partner systems - which system owns which records, where the source of truth lives, and how information moves between them. Learn our internal frameworks, platforms, and existing applications well enough to know what can be reused, extended, or composed to answer a new request. Own intake and triage. Requests come to you first: clarify them, size them, set expectations with the requester, route them, and keep a visible, prioritized backlog in our work tracking tools. Embed with marketing teams to learn how their work gets done today, and identify the steps where automation would take the most repetitive and error-prone work off their plate. Turn what you learn into a design: what the workflow does, what data and tools it touches, where a person stays in the loop, what happens when it fails, and how you will know the output is good enough. You will do this with our engineers, not in isolation. Build what you can inside our frameworks and low-code tooling, and partner with our engineers and data scientists on the larger pieces - custom applications, deeper integrations, and ML-driven analysis - designing and building alongside them rather than handing over a spec. Test what gets built, including the harder problem of evaluating output that is not identical every run. Guide user acceptance testing with the people who asked for the work. Enable and evangelize. Run demos, working sessions, and office hours; write the documentation and runbooks; make marketing teams confident operating what we deliver without us in the room. Measure impact - cycle time, error rate, output quality, and how much more a team is able to take on - and be willing to recommend reworking or retiring something that is not earning its keep. Work in an Agile cadence with the rest of the team, and use AI tools as part of your own daily workflow.
