Mission Circular Action Alliance (CAA) helps producers comply with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws, delivers harmonized best-in-class services, and works with governments, businesses, and communities to reduce waste and increase recycling. Role Overview The Analyst, Responsible End Markets (REM) supports CAA’s national REM program by managing documentation, data, and communications that ensure recyclers, brokers, and MRFs meet state requirements. This role oversees daily execution of the REM Self-Attestation, Verification, and Reporting process – maintaining high quality records and databases, preparing reporting and dashboards, and building insights that drive future program improvements. As part of the national services group, the Analyst partners with cross functional teams—such as Data & Analytics, Technical Services, Material Services, and State teams — to support consistent, compliant, and traceable end market processes. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and comfort interacting with external stakeholders to keep REM workflows accurate, timely, and aligned with evolving regulatory needs. Key Responsibilities Manage REM Self‑Attestation and Verification process. Conduct outreach to recyclers, brokers, and MRFs to collect required documentation and reporting data. Analyze missing data, manage follow‑ups, and escalate compliance issues. Administer and triage REM Support inbox submissions. Assist in audit coordination with external certification bodies. REM Database Management & Data Quality Maintain up‑to‑date REM records, perform data quality checks, and coordinate corrections. Provide feedback for enhancements to the REM database products. Assist with testing and QA during product updates. Reporting, Metrics & Dashboards Maintain dashboards for internal teams tracking REM certification status, end market volumes, and key KPIs. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual REM reports and support data validation. Extrapolate insights from data to support decision-making. Collaborate with Material Services team to quantify and target impact of facility investments. Other job-related duties as assigned. Skills & Competencies Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage documentation at scale and maintain clean data governance. Familiarity with recycling systems, manufacturing processes, third-party certification, and supply chain documentation preferred. Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders inside and outside the organization. Ability to work in a dynamic environment working at a rapid pace with flexibility. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Public Policy, Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or related field preferred. 3-5 years of experience in program coordination, corporate sustainability, compliance, operations, or environmental/recycling systems.
