Overview The Analyst is a core member of the Stewardship team and reports directl y to the Director of Stewardship at A sia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC) . You will w ork as part of a six-member team (two of which are sector specialists) who is responsible for coordinating collaborative , systems-level engagement to achieve real world climate outcomes through company-level decarbonisation. In this role, yo u will be responsible for conduct ing corporate transition plan analysis for select ed companies and specific industrial sector s . Your analysis will actively drive regional corporate engagement activities , interactive workshops and high-impact investor roundtables , providing the essential research required to inform institutional investor s’ stewardship strategies across Asia . Note: This position requires professional flexibility in working hours to accommodate international meetings occurring outside of standard working hours . Some traveling across major Asian financial markets is expected for convening flagship events, investor roadshows and corporate engagement dialogues . Duties and Responsibilities : Provide administrative and technical support for engagement meetings organised via various investor engagement programs . Deliver consistent, structured progress updates to the Director of Stewardship, proactively recommending relevant stewardship tools and interventions to accelerate company engagements. Organise, facilitate and synthesize technical workshops, working groups and roundtable discussions to establish regional best practice benchmarks . Co-ordinate structured thematic research re garding c orporate transition strategies, sector pathways , capital allocation, climate governance, corporate policy engagement, physical ri sk a nd resilience and just transition frameworks . Collaborate cross-functionally with AIGCC market leads, sector experts and global investor networks as appropriate . We are looking for candidates ready to self-initiate internal projects with a desire to work in a mission-driven not-for-profit environment. Core Requirements Educational B ackground: Undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Economics, Corporate Management, Sustainability, or Environmental Science Professional E xperience: A minimum of 3 years in corporate financial analysis, responsible investment, equities analysis or economic research tracking climate or environmental matters . Project O wnership: Demonstrated ability to autonomously champion internal project s from concept , and project design to final delivery Cross-functional C ollaboratio n : Proven experience collaborating effectively with partners , global coalitions, specialised consultants to deliver shared project outcome s . Desirable Skills and Attributes Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in a major Asian language (such as Chinese, Korean, or Japanese) is highly advantageous to support regional company dialogues, though not a strict requirement. Communication Excellence: Outstanding professional writing capabilities and high-confidence verbal presentation skills tailored for institutional financial audiences. Operational Agility: Highly self-motivated, mission-driven individual comfortable operating with high autonomy within distributed or remote team environments. AI Literacy & Tool Fluency: Practical experience utilizing advanced AI tools, prompt engineering techniques, or large language models to optimize workflows and scale operational output.
