Application closing date: 19/08/2026 at 23:59

We are recruiting for 5 permanent vacancies.

A bit about the role...

The Cladding Safety Scheme (CSS) provides financial support to enable the remediation of buildings with cladding systems that present an unacceptable life-safety risk.

We aim to improve the lives of affected leaseholders by providing them with more certainty and less worry about the safety and financial burden of their property and restoring confidence in the market.

The CSS is committed to delivering a first-class stakeholder experience, placing stakeholders at the heart of its approach to funding cladding remediation works. The team works collaboratively and flexibly, valuing diverse experiences, perspectives and skills to drive effective decision-making, innovation and problem-solving. This inclusive approach enables the team to deliver the best possible outcomes.

As an Analyst – Technical Operations, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Scheme’s ambitious objectives. This is an excellent opportunity to apply and develop your business support and analytical skills while contributing to an important national programme with genuine social purpose. By joining the Cladding Safety Scheme, you will help make homes safer and improve outcomes for thousands of residents across England.

A bit about you…

Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders, you will be used to managing competing priorities, possess great attention to detail and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate. You do not need to have specialist skills in construction or building safety but will be comfortable working in a high volume and pace led environment.

You'll be comfortable supporting both the Senior Manager and Managers in the team to build a productive and effective working relationship with our stakeholders. You will be proficient in delivering excellent service and you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of the programme ensuring that we are working effectively to improve the applicant and resident experience.

We work with an outsourced firm to undertake the routine administration of CSS. You will be working alongside the operational management team to deliver critically important administrative functions to underpin achievement of performance at pace. With a commitment to collaboration and agile working you will support the wider team and our delivery partners to ensure we maximise delivery and the impact of the programme.

Who are we?

Homes England : The Housing and Regeneration Agency

We believe that affordable, quality homes in well-designed places are key to improving people’s lives. As the government’s housing and regeneration agency, we create thriving new places and transform urban areas, combining the full breadth of our powers, expertise, land, capital and influence to bring investment to communities and get more homes built.

How? We form long-term partnerships that bridge the gap between the public and private sector to meet local needs and aspirations. We use our influence to champion the creation of sustainable homes, communities and places that are brilliantly designed for the people that live there now, and in the future. And we use our funding and support to build a more resilient, diverse and innovative housing sector, helping new entrants in the market, encouraging modern methods of construction and design, and promoting the utmost attention to building safety.

Together with our partners, we’re accelerating the pace of house building, remediation and regeneration across the country, as we seek to deliver ever more affordable homes in places people are proud to call home for generations to come.

We would encourage all applicants to apply as soon as possible as we may close vacancies early should we receive a high number of applications.

We also encourage you to apply using the full application option as opposed to quick apply, this is especially important if you would like to indicate to us that you would like to be considered under the disability confident scheme.
