Analyst, Trade Payments

Your Opportunity as the Analyst, Trade Payments The Analyst, Trade Payments role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant administration of trade payment programs, including Broker Commissions, Bottle Bill Fees, Tonnage, and LDI Funding. This position supports the end-to-end payment process by partnering with Sales Operations, Customer Data, Information Systems, Regulatory, Accounts Payable, and Customer Logistics teams to align program requirements, maintain supporting data and reporting, manage exception processes, process payments, and ensure proper ledger recording through journal entries. Location: Orrville, OH Corporate Offices Work Arrangements: Hybrid - onsite a minimum of 9 days a month primarily during core weeks as determined by the Company; maybe more as business need requires. In this role you will: Manage the calculation and payment of all broker commissions based on sales and deduction data for all markets Manage all manual brokerage payment adjustments required on a monthly/quarterly basis Prepare monthly journal entries to record brokerage calculation and adjustments in GL accurately Prepare and distribute monthly broker commission statement packages Research, analyze, resolve brokerage calculation issues and discrepancies by working with appropriate internal partners Prepare additional reporting requests, commission reviews, and ad hoc questions from brokers Coordinate with internal IS partners to develop enhancements within the brokerage process Prepare the calculation, reporting, and payment of bottle deposits and recycling fees required in various states Review and approve weekly invoices from a 3rd party recycling agent Coordinate with internal partners to ensure all applicable bottle items are accounted for accurately in reporting Prepare reporting of tonnage fees required in 30 states on a quarterly, semi-annual, or annual basis Coordinate with internal partners to ensure each states unique requirements are in compliance within our reporting Coordinates various state audits What we are looking for: Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree At least 1 year of related business experience in Supply Chain or Financial Accounting Proficient with Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, lookups, etc) Ability to analyze large data sets, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective action Ability to communicate across multiple departments and leadership levels Highly detail-oriented and organized Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role: Experience with Broker commission calculation processes Experience with Consumer Packaged Goods environment The Right Place for You We are bold, kind, strive to do the right thing, we play to win, and we believe in a strong community that thrives together.
