Analytics Engineer

The Role

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient data solutions using industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
• Design and implement data and AI solutions, primarily using Palantir Foundry, including AIP, AI FDE, Workshop, and Ontology Manager.
• Own the delivery of technical work packages for reinsurance and insurance projects, from requirement gathering to deployment.
• Interact with clients to scope out workflows, act as a consultant, and translate business needs into technical designs.
• Architect data models and pipelines using technologies like Spark, Python, and TypeScript.
• Mentor junior team members on projects, helping to guide their technical development and project tasks.
  
  

What You'll Need

• Minimum of 5 years work experience delivering technology projects within start-ups, financial institutions or enterprise firms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Actuarial Sciences, Engineering, or a quantitative field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and practical experience writing code in Python and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with AI and LLMs, including an understanding of practical limits like context windows and rate limits.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically about complex technical challenges.
