  • Strong knowledge of SQL and Python, in a Databricks environment preferred.
  • Experience using ETL tools and data manipulation concepts (Funnel.io, DBT, or similar applications).
  • Be comfortable partnering with Data Engineering on data sources, schemas, and refresh logic.
  • Deep analytical and problem-solving skills related to data storage and structure for reporting.
  • Understanding of reviewing data logic, KPI definitions, and QA outputs.
  • Basic knowledge of BI (Tableau, Power BI) including data modeling, dashboard structure, calculated fields, usability, and data storytelling
  • Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex BI outputs into clear, executive-ready insights.

Nice To Have

  • Experience with Pharma, HCP, or healthcare media analytics.
  • Expertise in digital media measurement (media KPIs, attribution concepts, omnichannel analysis).
  • Experience inheriting or stabilizing existing data warehouse schemas.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the onboarding of new client data sources and data feeds.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to ensure successful ingestion of data into Databricks.
  • Monitor data delivery schedules and ingestion processes.
  • Maintain source documentation, field mappings, and data inventories.
  • Work directly with internal teams and external partners to resolve source-related issues.
  • Monitor data freshness, completeness, and accuracy across client datasets.
  • Perform ongoing quality assurance and reconciliation checks.
  • Investigate missing, unexpected, or inconsistent data.
  • Escalate, coordinate, and resolve remediation efforts with the appropriate teams.
  • Maintain documentation of data quality findings and resolutions.
  • Support the development of automated data quality checks and monitoring processes.
  • Develop and maintain client-specific standard, custom, and master tables and reporting views within Databricks based on a medallion architecture.
  • Assist with transforming and standardizing data from multiple sources into reporting-ready structures.
  • Solve problems and help build solutions related to the data model to meet evolving reporting and analysis needs.
  • Document business rules, transformation logic, and metric definitions.
  • Support maintenance of reusable reporting datasets and standardized data models.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for routine data-related questions.
  • Partner with Client Services, Media, Strategy, and Data teams to align on data outputs and expectations.
  • Work with analysts and measurement leads to understand reporting requirements.
  • Communicate data issues, impacts, and resolutions to stakeholders.
  • Assist with troubleshooting data discrepancies impacting reporting deliverables.
  • Support Power BI developers and analysts with data-related questions.
  • Assist with report validation and troubleshooting.
  • Help verify data displayed in dashboards aligns with source systems and business requirements.
  • Provide support for semantic models and reporting datasets when needed
