Vodafone Innovus offers, across 20 countries, a wide array of ΙοΤ solutions such as: - Real time company Fleet Management - Fixed Asset Management e.g. Soft Drinks and Ice cream Cabinets - Mobile Asset Tracking for transportation and SVR use - Gas/Solar/Energy Remote Metering - Design and manufacture of highly customized telemetry devices What you’ll do Android Mobile Software Engineer is responsible to design, develop and release mobile software solutions. She/he shall be able to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design. Software engineer responsibilities include development, writing code, documenting, debugging functionality and releasing working packages to markets including Test flights & MVPs for early feedback. Key accountabilities and decision ownership: • Execute full lifecycle software development with strong code ethics • Write well designed, testable, efficient code • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system • Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures • Document and maintain software functionality • Develop maintainable code Who you are Core competencies, experience & knowledge: • BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering • Proven work experience with Kotlin/Java with focus on clean architecture • Proficient in modern android framework & tools (Jetpack components, dependency injection) • Knowledge of Build Tools, Maven • Skilled in backend communication & API integration (OAuth, JWT) • JIRA/Confluence /Bitbucket experience preferred Behaviours and Other competencies: • Experience working with agile methodologies / in agile teams strongly preferred • Strong facilitation and organization skills • Developed written and verbal communications skills, with both technical and business audiences • Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with high levels of creativity & curiosity • Passionate about teamwork and collaboration • Customer centric & active feedback seeker • Strong time-management skills are considered an asset Not a perfect fit?
