As an Android System Engineer, you will focus on low-level development within the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) to build and customize system services and hardware abstraction layers. You will serve as the vital link between hardware capabilities and the Android framework, ensuring seamless device-specific functionality and high-performance execution.

What You Will Do

• Design and develop low-level system services and core components within the AOSP environment.
• Implement and optimize Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL) to enable seamless communication between software and hardware.
• Develop and maintain device drivers and custom ROMs tailored for specific hardware requirements.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to manage kernel adjacency and ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Debug and resolve complex system-level issues across the entire Android stack, from system services to hardware interfaces.
• Ensure the stability, security, and performance of custom Android distributions through rigorous testing and optimization.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Android Systems Engineering or low-level Embedded development.
• Deep expertise in AOSP, including system services and HAL development.
• Strong proficiency in C++, Java, and Kotlin for system-level programming.
• Hands-on experience with device drivers, custom ROMs, and kernel adjacency.
• Proven ability to perform device-specific Android customizations at scale.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
