About The Role
As an
Accounts Payable Accountant, you will work with our accounting team to ensure our organization’s spendings are accurate and our accounting practices are standardized across the organization. You will be responsible for processing payments, verifying invoices, and performing account reconciliations as needed. You will play a key role in delivering the services and standardization, as well as improvements of the AP processes, supporting respective Team Leader of Accounts Payable Section. You will also be involved in liaising with suppliers and the supply chain department in order to maintain a business relationship and ensure smooth deliveries to the production department.
What are your responsibilities?
- Verification and posting of individual financial transactions
- Compliance with company policies and documented SOX procedures
- Resolving discrepancies by collaborating with business partners and suppliers
- Support for month end and year end closing in the liabilities area
- Identifying areas for process improvement
- Developing and maintaining good relationships with suppliers and local business units
- Participation in department level projects
- Regular work with reports
What makes you a good fit for this role?
- Secondary vocational or higher education in a relevant field (accounting, finance, economics) or equivalent
- Knowledge of English (minimum B1)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position
- Practical knowledge of MS Excel
- Understanding of accounting processes and the tools used within them
- Ability to enter data and analyze financial documents
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Accuracy in task execution and strong attention to detail
- Adaptability to changing deadlines and priorities driven by business needs
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
