ForeFlight is seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll help ensure the accuracy and timeliness of vendor payments and contribute to the smooth operation of our day-to-day financial processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to support both routine tasks and process improvements within the AP function. This position offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with Accounting, Procurement, and other internal teams, as well as with external vendors. Key Responsibilities: Process and code incoming invoices accurately and route them for appropriate approvals Ensure timely payments through check runs, ACH, or wire transfers Maintain the AP inbox, respond to vendor inquiries, and resolve invoice discrepancies Assist with vendor setup and updates, including collecting W-9s and verifying banking information Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding invoices or credits Assist with monthly close by preparing AP-related reconciliations and accruals Track and process employee reimbursements and ensure policy compliance Maintain organized and accurate AP files and documentation Support audits by preparing requested reports and backup documentation Recommend improvements to AP processes and assist with documentation and implementation Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar accounting/finance role Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) Basic understanding of accounting principles and AP workflows Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a technology, aviation, or manufacturing environment Familiarity with automated invoice processing and expense reporting systems Exposure to multi-entity or international AP processes Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., sorting, filtering, pivot tables, v-lookup) Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through a Bachelor's degree in in accounting or a related field, and typically 3 or more years' related product management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
