About the Role We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented AP and Cash Applications Clerk to provide part-time support to our Finance team. This role is responsible for processing accounts payable, preparing check runs, maintaining vendor records, supporting cash reporting, and assisting with other general accounting needs. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and able to meet recurring deadlines while balancing multiple priorities. Compensation & Benefits · $18 - $21/hour, depending on experience · Part-time hybrid schedule · Paid sick leave · Paid vacation · 401(k) with employer match Why You'll Love Working Here · Meaningful work that supports churches and ministries worldwide · Collaborative, team-oriented culture · Hybrid work environment · Quarterly food and fun events · Holiday celebrations, giveaways, and company events What You'll Do · Organize, code, enter, post, and file invoices within weekly and period-close deadlines · Prepare weekly check runs and manual check requests, including verifying documentation and resolving payment discrepancies · Monitor vendor discount opportunities and verify federal tax identification numbers · Review invoices and calculate use tax accurately each month · Set up new vendors in accordance with company policies, including obtaining W-9 forms and accurately entering vendor information · Communicate with vendors to resolve accounts payable questions and discrepancies · Collect documentation needed to prepare annual 1099 statements · Manage the corporate credit card program through the Wells Fargo CCER platform · Reconcile daily credit card receipts and provide information for the Daily Cash Report · Cross-train on essential Finance functions to provide coverage when needed · Protect confidential financial information and maintain accurate records Requirements What We Are Looking For · High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Accounting preferred · Up to two years of experience in an office environment · Previous accounting or finance experience preferred · Knowledge of basic accounting principles · Experience using an enterprise-level ERP system · Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail · Ability to research information, resolve issues, and prioritize competing demands · Ability to work independently and collaboratively Apply Today If you are looking for a flexible part-time opportunity where your accounting skills can support a meaningful mission, we would love to hear from you.
