Job Description Summary The APAC Technical Leader – Wind Services will serve as the primary regional technical authority for CM&U (Contractual Modifications & Upgrades). With a primary focus on SCADA, software upgrades and cybersecurity solutions, this role is a strategic blend of high-level technical advisory and proactive business development. You will leverage data-driven insights from the existing installed base to identify growth opportunities, provide critical technical support for SCADA and software upgrades, and act as the principal GEV representative in high-stakes customer engagements. Job Description APAC Technical Leader – Wind Services Role Summary: The APAC Technical Leader – Wind Services will serve as the primary regional technical authority for CM&U (Contractual Modifications & Upgrades). With a primary focus on SCADA, software upgrades and cybersecurity solutions, this role is a strategic blend of high-level technical advisory and proactive business development. You will leverage data-driven insights from the existing installed base to identify growth opportunities, provide critical technical support for SCADA and software upgrades, and act as the principal GEV representative in high-stakes customer engagements. Key Responsibilities: Proactive Opportunity Identification: Utilize installed base data analytics and frequent customer engagement to identify performance gaps and modernization opportunities, effectively converting technical needs into business pipeline growth. Sales Technical Support: Partner with the Sales team to architect compelling CM&U solutions, with an expert focus on SCADA modernization, software upgrades, Cybersecurity, and fleet optimization. Customer Advisory: Serve as a trusted technical advisor, guiding customers through complex technical roadmaps to maximize asset life, production output, reliability and safely operation of their assets including cybersecurity risks. Customer Engagement & Representation: Represent GE Vernova (GEV) in customer meetings and technical forums. Act as the primary technical point of contact, ensuring GEV solutions are clearly articulated and aligned with the customer's operational goals. Strategic Feedback Loop: Translate regional technical challenges and customer insights into actionable requirements for global product and engineering teams to ensure our upgrades remain industry leading. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Software, or related field). Minimum experience of 12 years of relevant experience in a similar or related field. Proven experience on SCADA, controls, cybersecurity and digital asset management. Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing, consultative role with an ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical skills: Experience using data and fleet analytics to build business cases for technical upgrades. Ability to travel across the APAC region to support customer meetings and site visits. Deep understanding of the APAC wind market landscape, regulatory environment, and competitive software/SCADA solutions.
