Job Description:

Our client is seeking a talented and creative Men's Apparel Designer to join their dynamic team. This role is central to developing innovative and stylish menswear collections that resonate with our brand's identity and values. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current fashion trends, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating designs that celebrate individuality and inclusivity.

This is a highly creative position where you will be responsible for conceptualizing and bringing to life new apparel designs from initial sketch to final product. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including production and marketing, will be key to ensuring successful collection launches.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Conceptualize and design innovative menswear collections, aligning with brand aesthetic and market trends.

• Create detailed technical sketches and specifications for garment construction.

• Source fabrics, trims, and other materials, considering quality, cost, and sustainability.

• Collaborate with overseas vendors throughout the product development process, ensuring timely execution and quality control.

• Develop and maintain seasonal color palettes and trend boards.

• Present design concepts and collections to internal teams and stakeholders.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Apparel Designer, with a focus on menswear.

• Strong portfolio showcasing creative design skills and a diverse range of menswear styles.

• Experience working with overseas vendors and managing international production.

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and textile properties.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a queer-focused or inclusive fashion brand.

• Knowledge of sustainable fashion practices.

• Familiarity with 3D design software.
