Application Engineer

You will be working in ESTECO's Global Engineering and Support Team and be involved in application support of our software technology platforms modeFRONTIER and VOLTA. Your main activities will be to: Provide application support for software platforms (modeFRONTIER and VOLTA) to ESTECO customers (industry sectors include Automotive, Aerospace, Consumer Appliances, Oil & Gas) Understand customer domain problems and develop and implement engineering optimization solutions using ESTECO technology Provide application support to customers and guide them on Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (MDO) strategies and Design Exploration methods Work with customers to integrate third party Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools in modeFRONTIER in order to enable CAE process automation Assist and conduct technical training and workshops for new and existing customers Assist and conduct product demonstrations for new customers and contribute to case studies Collaborate with colleagues from our Italian, German and North-American offices What we need to see 🔧 : Master's in Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related 1-2 years' experience in engineering software support Proactive attitude and willingness to learn Ways to stand out from the crowd (optional skills) 🔝: Knowledge of CAE and CFD simulation tools such as NASTRAN, Ansys, Abaqus, Star CCM Knowledge of Optimization and Statistical Methods Programming and scripting skills Perks and benefits: Flexible working-hours⏰ Remote working 💼🏠 Travel opportunities: you will have the possibility to join our worldwide colleagues✈️ International experience🌐 Continuous growth and learning: you will constantly have access to internal soft skills and technical skills training, and also external events and industry conferences👩‍💻👨‍💻 Friendly work environment 🤝 Internal and external training 🌐💡 Insurance ⚕️ Competitive salary 💸 About ESTECO🏢 🚀 ESTECO is an independent software company, highly specialized in numerical optimization and simulation process and data management.
