Applications/Solutions Architect & Cloud Migration (Azure)

What You'll do: - Lead the technical migration of a large portfolio of on-premise applications to Microsoft Azure Cloud; - Define migration strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor) for each application, aligning with business and technical objectives; - Conduct cloud readiness assessments , identifying dependencies and planning migration roadmaps; - Design scalable, secure, and resilient architectures in Azure that comply with governance and security standards; - Support development teams in application modernization and in establishing CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies; - Coordinate activities between development, infrastructure, vendors, and software providers; - Ensure compliance with Azure governance models , cost management practices, and architectural guidelines; - Produce technical documentation and deliver presentations to stakeholders in English; - Act as a Technical Project Manager , overseeing execution and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture goals; - Hybrid Work Model (Several locations in Portugal). What You Are: - Proven experience in Solution and Systems Architecture , particularly in migrating on-premises applications to Microsoft Azure; - Strong knowledge of Azure services including IaaS, PaaS, App Services, AKS, Containers, and Azure Functions; - Ability to define cloud migration strategies (rehosting, replatforming, refactoring); - Experience with application assessment and cloud readiness analysis; - Understanding of modern application stacks such as OutSystems, TIBCO, JasperSoft, .NET, and Java; - Solid knowledge of security, governance, cost optimization, and best practices in Azure; - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines , DevOps practices , and deployment automation; - Strong coordination and documentation skills, capable of leading cross-functional and vendor teams; - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities; - Fluent in Portuguese and English  (spoken and written) .
