Purpose of the role: We are looking for an experienced Applied Catalyst Technology Engineer to join our team and deliver technical support for our customers in the Ethylene/ Propylene application. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance to support our customers' operations across the Middle East and Africa. Responsibilities Customer Technical Support Provide on-site and remote technical assistance to Ethylene/ Propylene customers across the MEA region Monitor and analyze catalyst performance, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions Troubleshoot catalyst-related problems and conduct root cause analysis Build and maintain strong technical relationships with customer process and engineering teams Application & Project Management Lead catalyst loading, start-up, and performance evaluation activities Prepare and present technical reports and performance summaries to customers Coordinate with global ACT and Sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction Support business development by identifying opportunities for catalyst upgrades and new product introductions Internal Collaboration Work closely with R&D, Sales, and global ACT teams to develop tailored solutions Contribute to modelling, data analysis, and technical documentation Share customer insights and market intelligence with the broader organization Requirements At least a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Chemistry, or Chemical Technology. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in plant operations or catalyst technical service in a chemical plant such as Petrochemical, Refinery, or Oil & Gas plants.
