Salary Range: $20.00 To $37.00 Hourly Why American Heritage Lending: American Heritage Lending is in search of highly motivated and customer-centric individuals to join our team as Loan Originators. We are looking for sales professionals who are dedicated to enhancing the customer experience and adept at sourcing and fostering strategic relationships. Successful candidates will demonstrate a proven track record of achieving $3 million or more in monthly origination volume within the fix/flip, ground-up construction, single-family rental, and/or short-term bridge financing sectors. Position Overview: The Appraiser manages the appraisal of residential and construction project properties and investigates the fair market value and property ratings through analysis and inspection of properties. The appraiser ensures that the properties are in accordance with departmental specifications. They evaluate appraisal fee qualifications and consult findings with senior leadership. Additionally, the Appraiser ensures appraisal documentation and appraiser certifications are in compliance with all regulations. They work closely with the sales and operations department to ensure standard practice compliance efforts are executed. The Appraiser resolves escalated issues arising from operations and requires coordination with other departments. Major Areas of Responsibility include: • Valuation and appraising of property. • Investigates the fair market value of property ratings through analysis. • Assess loan risk within portfolio and make recommendations to mitigate risk. • Monitors construction projects to ensure timely completion. • Ensure compliance with Regulations - Verify that all appraisal processes comply with Appraiser Independence Requirements (AIR), Dodd-Frank Act, and Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). - Maintain adherence to investor and lender guidelines Minimum Qualifications (Skills, Knowledge & Abilities): • Analytical skills. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy. • Understand various mortgage documents. • Ability to gather and monitor information. • Ability to analyze large volume of documents. • Ability to follow written and verbal directives; effective communication skills. • Understand various mortgage documents. Experience and Education: • 5+ years of Residential and Construction Appraisal experience • Requires Appraisal Review experience • Effective written and verbal presentation experience Physical Demands: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
