This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while learning from experienced professionals in a global organization. As a Diploma Apprentice, you will work daily with an experienced mentor who will support your learning and development. You will gain practical knowledge of elevator systems through site visits, formal training, and on-the-job experience. Key Responsibilities Work closely with experienced technicians and mentors to learn elevator maintenance and service operations. Familiarize yourself with the basic working principles of elevators through field visits and structured learning programs. Learn how electronic and mechanical components interact to create complex elevator systems. Gain exposure to digital technologies, including IoT applications in elevators. Perform preventive maintenance activities on contracted equipment, including: Regular site visits Safety device inspections Equipment checks and maintenance activities Adhere to all safety and quality standards established by Otis. Eligibility Criteria Diploma Pass-outs of 2024, 2025, or 2026 batches only. Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering . Must have completed the diploma from an AICTE-approved institution . Candidates should not have undergone or completed any apprenticeship training previously under any organization. Minimum age: 18 years . Willingness to pursue a career in elevator maintenance and installation. Desired Skills & Attributes Comfortable using electronic and digital tools. Strong interest in mechanical and electrical systems. Eagerness to learn and become a qualified elevator mechanic/installer. Hardworking, reliable, and flexible. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong team player with a positive attitude. Self-motivated and proactive.
