Closing Date: 5pm on 3 August 2026 Opportunities to support the Frontline recruitment team The selection team at Frontline are excited to offer two paid roles to social workers who are interested in getting involved in the selection stages of recruiting participants for Approach Social Work, formerly known as the Frontline programme. We are looking to recruit social workers to join us from September 2026 to May 2027 as Frontline screeners and assessors. As a screener, you would be responsible for screening written elements of the selection process remotely before the assessment centre, working on a flexible schedule. As an assessor, you would be assessing activities such as interviews and role plays at our virtual assessment centres, meeting candidates and helping to choose the next cohort of the programme. You will often be working alongside other assessors, such as care-experienced assessors and Frontline staff. Due to the nature of the role, these opportunities are open to social workers who have been qualified for two or more years. We welcome applications both from social workers that haven’t screened or assessed for Frontline before, as well as those who have. Diversity of thought and experience supports us in making fair and consistent decisions and therefore we welcome applications from individuals in all roles within social work. Similarly, applicants from global majority backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply as we hope to increase the racial diversity of our screener and assessor teams. Job Descriptions Screener Reports to: Selection manager Start/end date: September 2026 – May 2027 Location: Remote. You must have access to your own computer, tablet or laptop Contract type: Temporary Hours: Approximately seven hours per week (variable) Salary : £20 per hour Assessor Reports to: Selection manager Start/end date: October 2026 – May 2027 Location: Our assessment centres will take place online on a video conferencing platform. Contract type: Temporary Hours: 8.30am – 6.30pm (full day assessment centre) / 8.30am – 1.30pm or 1.30pm - 6.30pm (half day assessment centre). Whilst these times represent our usual assessment centre hours, please note that they are subject to slight changes. It is essential that your commitment to attend at least 4 assessment centres is supported by your line manager either as release for development, annual leave or time in lieu (TOIL). Salary: £210 per day (£105 for a half day) Training commitment and right to work In preparation for your role, you will be required to attend a paid compulsory training session. The screener training session will be held virtually on Thursday 24 September , and the assessor training sessions will be held virtually on Wednesday 7 October and Tuesday 13 October (you will only need to attend one of these training dates). Completion of your training will be required before starting as a screener or assessor. You will also be required to show a right to work document before starting your role. Please note that if you are successful in applying to both roles, you will be required to attend two separate training sessions for each role. If you have any questions about the screener or assessor role, please email: [email protected]
