What is the job?

The Architectural Drafter is responsible in producing detailed technical drawings and documentation to support design and construction projects. This role translates conceptual designs into accurate plans using CAD software while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Converts sketches and design concepts into precise technical drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Revises drawings based on feedback from architects and project teams.
• Maintains organized and up-to-date drawing sets across all project phases.
• Coordinates with engineers and consultants to integrate structural and MEP systems.
• Ensures drawings comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and project specifications.
• Assists in developing 3D models and visualizations when required.
• Performs site measurements and prepares as-built drawings as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience in architectural drafting or CAD production within an architectural or engineering firm.
• Experience in AutoCAD software for technical drafting.
• Must have stable employment history.
