Artificial Intelligence Engineer

We are looking for an AI Engineer/Software Developer with a passion for AI, programming, and a team player to integrate with our VTXRM family.

What you will do:

• Be part of an experienced development area with multiple teams;
• Take part in the development of international projects for big companies such as Volkswagen Financial Services;
• Design, implement, and maintain the AI core module for the main product;
• Design, implement, and maintain the AI Low-Code agentic platform;
• Work in an agile methodology within a Microsoft stack, using SQL Server/PostgreSQL, .Net Core (C#, Visual Studio), and Web Services (WCF and REST API);
• Learn and explore the core business related to the financial area;
• Finish all assigned tasks with quality within the defined timeline;
• Conduct unit testing and integration testing, executing the necessary bug fixing;

Your Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Engineering with specialization in AI topics (valued);
• Proficiency with at least one programming language: C#, VB, or Java;
• Knowledge in Relational Database Modeling and Programming;
• Solid understanding of component reuse and version control principles;
• Ability to solve problems with high awareness of quality and attention to detail;
• Result-oriented and communicative team player;
• At least 2-3 years working with AI (Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Embeddings, Vector Databases, Agentic AI)
• Good written and spoken English

Nice to have/ Pluses:

• Experience in Agile methodologies practices;
• Good understanding of solution architecture and design, and web application performance;
• Experience using Internet Information Services (IIS);
• Experience in Microsoft Visual Studio, including Source Control (Git/TFVC);
• Experience in SQL Server or PostgreSQL;
• Experience in the Financial area (not mandatory);
• Knowledge in Microsoft Agent Framework, Model Context Protocol (MCP);
• Experience with Code Assistant Tools.
