The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Asset Protection Manager to support the protection of company assets, improve internal controls, identify operational risks, and coordinate asset protection activities across the organization.
The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Finance, Security, IT, Procurement, Compliance, and Management teams to monitor company assets, strengthen controls, identify potential risks, and support effective asset management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain asset protection policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Coordinate asset protection activities across relevant departments and business functions.
- Monitor company assets, equipment, inventory, facilities, technology resources, and other organizational property.
- Identify potential asset-related risks, control gaps, losses, and operational vulnerabilities.
- Work with Finance and Operations to maintain accurate asset records, registers, and documentation.
- Support asset inventories, verification activities, audits, and reconciliation processes.
- Monitor asset movement, allocation, usage, maintenance, and disposal activities.
- Develop and monitor asset protection KPIs, controls, reports, and performance indicators.
- Coordinate with Security, IT, Procurement, Finance, Compliance, and Operations teams.
- Support investigations and reviews relating to asset discrepancies, losses, misuse, or control issues when required.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions to reduce asset-related risks.
- Review business processes to identify opportunities to improve asset security and operational controls.
- Support access control, asset tracking, documentation, and authorization procedures.
- Maintain accurate asset protection records, incident reports, review findings, and action trackers.
- Support internal audits, compliance assessments, and risk reviews related to company assets.
- Promote awareness of asset protection policies and responsible use of company resources.
- Prepare asset protection reports, management updates, risk assessments, and improvement recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Operations, Finance, Security Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in asset management, loss prevention, risk management, operations, security, compliance, or a related role.
- Experience monitoring assets, inventory, operational controls, or company resources is an advantage.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of asset management, internal controls, and risk management principles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or potential risks.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, asset registers, reporting tools, and common business software.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and handle business information professionally.
- Good investigation, coordination, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across departments.
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating with international teams.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- UAE or GCC experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Candidates with relevant asset management, operations, risk, security, compliance, or loss-prevention experience are encouraged to apply.
