Position Summary The Assistant Accountant will support the APAC & ME FP&A team in regional consolidation, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This is an entry-level role designed for individuals looking to build a career in FP&A, providing exposure to regional finance operations, business performance analysis, and financial planning processes across multiple markets. Major Responsibilities Support the consolidation of monthly results, budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans across APAC & ME markets. Prepare regional management reports, dashboards, and performance analyses for management review. Perform data validation and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes, including coordination with country finance teams. Develop and maintain reporting templates, financial models, and analytical tools to improve reporting efficiency. Support process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and ad hoc FP&A projects while building regional FP&A expertise. Education Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related business disciplines Qualified member of recognized professional accounting body Experience Requirements 0–2 years of relevant experience in finance, business analysis, or FP&A. Prior internship experience in finance or accounting is advantageous. Strong analytical and numerical skills with an interest in financial planning and business performance analysis. Comfortable working with large volumes of data and reporting information. Eager to learn, proactive, and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate work. Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different countries and functions. Mobility/Travel Minimal Computer Skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP, HFM, FCCS, Hyperion, Power BI, or similar reporting tools would be an advantage. Strong aptitude for systems and financial reporting tools. Language Fluency in both written and spoken English. Able to read, write and speak in Mandarin is an advantage due to exposure to China market Others Immediate availability or short notice period is an advantage. This is a 1 year contract.
