The Role: As an Assistant Product Manager at Public, you will support the management and growth of the Books & Music category within the Commercial Entertainment team. Working closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to assortment planning, supplier coordination, sales analysis, promotional activities, and the successful execution of the category strategy. This role is ideal for a commercially minded and analytical professional who is passionate about books, music, and retail, and is looking to build a career in Product Management within a fast-paced omnichannel environment. Key Responsibilities Support the day-to-day management of the Books & Music product portfolio, ensuring product availability and category performance Assist in the planning and execution of new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional activities Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and key commercial KPIs, identifying opportunities and risks Prepare sales reports, product analyses, forecasts, and presentations to support business decisions Coordinate with suppliers regarding product information, pricing, promotions, and order management Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, E-commerce, Visual Merchandising, and Store Operations teams to ensure effective product positioning and execution. Analyze competitor activity, market trends, and customer insights to support category development.
