Job Summary: The Associate, Bank Account Management will oversee the processes for opening and closing accounts. This individual will become part of a skilled and energetic team comprised of real estate and customer service experts. The role, which is client-facing, involves understanding the needs of clients and collaborating effectively with banking partners to meet those needs. Responsibilities: Foster and sustain strong relationships with both internal and external clients, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. Cultivate and maintain connections with Trimont’s banking partners. Offer guidance to both internal and external clients regarding bank account and cash management strategies, covering a range of complexities from simple to highly structured transactions at both the lender and borrower levels. Collaborate with closing attorneys and the Credit & Asset Management team to examine draft control agreements and resolve any emerging issues. Coordinate with Trimont Treasury Client Services, clients, borrowers, closing attorneys, and banking partners to initiate and oversee the bank account setup procedure. Initiate requests within the Treasury Database for the establishment of new bank accounts as required. Oversee the progression of the account opening process to ensure timely execution. Process requests for account maintenance to ensure accounts are up-to-date. Investigate and address issues related to overdraft accounts. Generate and process termination notices for account closures. Contribute to the company's knowledge by assisting with training sessions on Trimont's operational processes and cash management techniques. Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews for both client and borrower entities, monitor pending items, and liaise with relevant parties to gather necessary information. Authenticate client identities through various documents and databases. Engage with clients to acquire essential information and documentation. Keep the investor module within the servicing system updated with all relevant details (such as client and investor information, and investor bank accounts). Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required. 1+ years of experience in a relevant field. Knowledgeable in cash management for both clients and borrowers, as well as in servicing operations. Exhibits exceptional customer service capabilities. Demonstrates strong analytical abilities, including precise interpretation of the needs of both internal and external clients. Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across all levels of the organization and with external partners. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
