Job Description Team: Cloud Engineering Location: Remote within the Republic of Ireland or the United Kingdom Shift Pattern: M-F, 8:00a - 4:30p or 9:00a - 5:30p Opportunity for Impact Applied is where insurance technology gets reinvented, and we build it fast. We’re looking for an Associate Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering Team and help support the performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of cloud-hosted applications and infrastructure. Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll build hands-on expertise across cloud operations, automation, and application support. What You’ll Do Support cloud-hosted application testing, implementation, maintenance, and validation. Monitor and troubleshoot Windows, Linux, server, network, and application environments. Assist with incident response, documentation, and operational process improvements. Contribute to automation, deployments, and on-call support activities. What We’re Looking For 3+ years in cloud operations, infrastructure support, systems administration, or application support. Knowledge of Windows Server, monitoring, troubleshooting, and technical documentation. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Bonus points if you also have: Exposure to Linux, Microsoft SQL Server, or relational databases. Experience with PowerShell, Python, SQL, Git, CI/CD, or automation tools. Familiarity with cloud technologies and AI tools such as Copilot or Claude. Talent shows up in a lot of different ways, and we mean that.
