About the Role (your why) As an Associate Consultant – Data , you will contribute to the successful delivery of Data, Analytics and Business Intelligence solutions for our customers. Working within a collaborative team of data professionals, you will support the design, development and implementation of modern data platforms, data engineering solutions, dashboards and reporting capabilities. You will have the opportunity to work across a range of projects, helping clients unlock value from their data through effective technical delivery and consultancy. This role is ideal for someone looking to further develop their expertise in data engineering, business intelligence and analytics while working with experienced consultants and enterprise customers. What you’ll do At the moment, as Associate Consultant – Data you will be focused on: Contributing to the delivery of data engineering and business intelligence components of Data, Analytics and BI solutions. Assisting with the implementation and support of data platforms, ETL pipelines, dashboards and reporting solutions. Analysing business requirements and translating them into effective technical solutions. Providing consultancy and technical guidance on data engineering and business intelligence technologies. Supporting the design and implementation of data models and data warehousing solutions. Ensuring allocated solution components are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with quality standards and client requirements. Providing project-based and operational support for Data, Analytics and BI solutions. Collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver successful outcomes. Maintaining awareness of health and safety obligations and adhering to Datacom policies and procedures. We are a pretty agile company, and are keen to respond to customer, technology and internal stakeholders’ changing requirements and this can mean we evolve in our roles to meet those needs. What you’ll bring Required experience: 2+ years’ experience delivering data solution components, including ETL pipelines, dashboards and reporting solutions. Knowledge of traditional and modern data platforms, including data warehouses, data marts and data lakes. Understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts and principles. Understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS) and associated database administration concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and interpret business requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills across a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to work independently, manage priorities and deliver against agreed schedules. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Science, Technology, Commerce or a related discipline. Nice to have: Experience working with cloud-based data and analytics platforms. Exposure to modern Business Intelligence and visualisation tools. Experience working within consulting or professional services environments. Familiarity with enterprise data governance and data management practices. Relevant industry certifications in data, analytics or cloud technologies.
