2. About the Opportunity:

The Associate Customer Service Representative role focuses on assisting and educating members, providers, or customers about insurance products and plans. This position is key in resolving inquiries accurately and timely, fostering positive relationships, and supporting the organization''s reputation. Operating in a structured, fast-paced call center environment, this role impacts customer satisfaction and service quality.

3. Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance and education to members, providers, or customers via telephone, internet, and written inquiries.

• Respond accurately and promptly to inquiries.

• Process and resolve customer issues of varying complexity.

• Document interactions and correspondence clearly and ensure proper tracking.

• Navigate multiple computer systems and internal resources efficiently.

• Maintain knowledge of insurance terms, practices, and company products.

• Address routine to moderately complex issues using established procedures.

• Manage common problems independently, seeking guidance for complex situations.

• Utilize available support channels to ensure effective issue resolution.

4. Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED with at least one year of customer service or related experience; experience in hospitality, healthcare, or office settings preferred.

• Private workspace and reliable, hard-wired high-speed internet connection.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient with technology and multiple computer applications.

• Willingness to learn new skills.

• Equivalent education and experience may be considered where applicable.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Estimated starting pay range is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, determined by experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

• Opportunities for salary growth through performance-based incentive programs.

• Pay Level: 015.

• FLSA Category: Nonexempt - Hourly.
