The Associate Director, Enterprise Talent & Performance is a strategic leader and tactical executor within the Enterprise Learning & Performance organization, responsible for leading the design, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of the organization’s Talent Management and Performance Management system while serving as the strategic talent and capability leader for the assigned client portfolio. Consults with leaders to identify organizational capability needs, recommend integrated solutions, and ensure the successful implementation of enterprise learning, talent, and performance initiatives. In addition, serves as the enterprise process owner for Talent Management and Performance Management, leading the strategy, governance, and annual operating rhythm, supporting technology, performance measures, and continuous improvement of the organization's talent lifecycle. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Enterprise Talent Management & Performance Leadership (40%) Provides enterprise leadership for Talent Management and Performance Management initiatives in partnership with the Senior Director of Learning Strategy & Capability and the VP of Enterprise Learning & Performance. Leads the design, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of the organization’s Talent Management and Performance Management framework in conjunction with Leadership Development leader. Designs and manages the annual talent and performance system and calendar, including the enterprise goal-setting process, performance review cycle, talent review cycle, calibration process, succession planning methodology, and organizational strategic planning support. Develops governance, policies, templates, toolkits, and leadership resources supporting enterprise talent and performance processes. Partners with IT/HR Technology and Human Resources to optimize support systems and digital experiences. Partners with Enterprise Learning peers and HR partners to translate talent insights into targeted development solutions for leaders and teams. Facilitates enterprise talent calibration sessions to ensure a consistent assessment of performance and potential across the organization. Partners with the Director of Learning Operations and Enablement to establish KPIs, adoption metrics, and measures of effectiveness. Leverage insights from measures of effectiveness and impact to make informed decisions for program enhancements and continuous improvement. Produces executive-level reports showcasing the impact of learning, talent, and performance interventions on business outcomes. Serves as an enterprise subject matter expert and thought partner on talent and performance practices. Strategic Portfolio & Stakeholder Engagement (30%) Serves as the strategic talent and capability consultant for an assigned portfolio of COEs, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and aligning learning strategies with business goals and talent priorities. Builds deep, trusted relationships with business leaders, HR partners, and centers of excellence (COEs) to proactively address talent gaps and future workforce capability needs. Translate business priorities into integrated talent, performance, and learning strategies that enable organizational success, and embed within client groups to anticipate business challenges and recommend targeted solutions. Aligns cross-functional stakeholders to deliver strategic priorities and manages enterprise risks, dependencies, and change impacts. Championing learning and talent initiatives at the executive level to gain alignment and sponsorship, influencing business decisions through strategic consultation and enterprise thinking. Develops annual capability plans that align with business objectives. Learning Strategy & Solution Development (15%) Partners with the Learning Experience Design team to develop scalable learning solutions. Recommends scalable learning, performance support, coaching, and organizational interventions. Ensures that learning solutions align with the enterprise's capability priorities. Evaluates program effectiveness and recommends continuous improvements. Leverage enterprise learning standards and best practices. Lead complex, enterprise-wide initiatives with significant organizational impact, establishing governance, project plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, and success measures. Co-governs the execution of enterprise talent system outputs (e.g., talent infrastructure spanning selection, performance, succession, and development) with Enterprise Learning & Performance leaders, including the Director of Learning Operations & Enablement, ensuring strategy, content, and technology enablement stay aligned end-to-end. Facilitation, Coaching, & Implementation (15%) Facilitates leadership development programs, strategic workshops, and enterprise learning experiences. Coaches leaders on effective goal setting, performance conversations, talent reviews, and development planning. Supports the implementation of enterprise Talent Management, Performance Management, and Learning Initiatives. Presents recommendations and updates to the senior leadership team. Performs other duties as assigned and modified by the manager's discretion. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Advanced-level business acuity. In-depth knowledge and understanding of general/core job-related functions, practices, processes, procedures, techniques, and methods, including talent management, performance management, organizational effectiveness, instructional design, and adult learning principles. Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior and executive leadership. Strong consulting skills and business acumen, with demonstrated success in partnering with executive leaders and influencing decisions without direct authority. Strong skills in balancing strategic planning with operational and tactical execution. Ability to simultaneously lead multiple enterprise initiatives. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with demonstrated emotional intelligence and the ability to handle adverse or ambiguous situations while maintaining a positive and supportive attitude. Ability to comfortably work in extreme ownership and high accountability culture. Strong commitment to developing and coaching others, with the ability to mentor, guide, and influence team members and stakeholders without direct authority. Strong commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, with a fervent desire and willingness to provide both consultative/advisory support and hands-on execution. Ability to drive measurable business outcomes Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; competent in other systems required for the position, including learning management systems (LMS) and eLearning tools. Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationally up to 30% of the time; flexible to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed; includes frequent travel to Miami, FL, to meet with key stakeholders; may require a mix of on-site and remote work depending on organizational needs. Master’s degree preferred PAY RANGE: $108,313 - $154,733 Salary The posted pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for this position. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for a bonuses or commissions.
